The OAUG Skills Marketplace is an OAUG resource that allows for hiring authorities to post job openings, while providing a mechanism for job seekers to post resumes.

Find qualified candidates easily with the OAUG Skills Marketplace! The OAUG Skills Marketplace is a robust and flexible application that allows companies to set up their own job descriptions or modify one of hundreds of available templates to assist in targeting the exact candidate they need. Furthermore, hiring managers can take advantage of an extensible questionnaire system, which is built into the application process, to automatically pre-screen and rank applicants in those categories that are most important to them.

The OAUG Skills Marketplace offers the following benefits to employers:

• Ability to choose from hundreds of job description templates to easily post job openings or create your own from scratch.
• Product-specific templates for Oracle E-Business, PeopleSoft Enterprise, Oracle Retail, and Siebel.
• Significant member discounts for job postings.
• Ability to pre-qualify candidates using questions you define.
• Ability to search resumes based on key words or skill sets.
• Capability to associate weights of importance to questions to allow hiring authorities to quickly identify the most qualified candidates based on what's important to them.

In addition, a number of job templates have been set up to target the family of Oracle Applications users. When candidates create their OAUG Skills Marketplace profile, they have the option to complete a questionnaire classifying them in any of the Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards and Oracle Retail product areas as either Technical or Functional Users in each product family. Moreover, the user has the ability to rank his or her skills on a scale of 1 to 5 to illustrate their level of expertise. And best of all, resumes may be posted at no charge.

For a fee, an employer may set up an account in the OAUG Skills Marketplace, good for a year, allowing them to search candidate resumes and identify qualified applicants. Once an employer account has been established, each job posting is billed separately. However, the OAUG has set up a special promotional period for its members to allow up to three FREE postings! Employers may also opt to simultaneously post their job opening on the most popular and/or targeted job boards to promote their job to the world (additional fees apply).

Once an employer has posted a job opening, they can set up folders to classify candidate submissions, manage candidate communications, send offers, and many other key hiring tasks. The OAUG Skills Marketplace can serve as an indispensable vehicle for the entire hiring process.
