OAUG Member Ray Payne Named Oracle ACEOAUG member Ray Payne has been selected as an Oracle ACE by Oracle Corporation. Ray has worked with Oracle databases for over 20 years and has over 16 years of experience with the Oracle E-Business Suite. He has been involved in the development and implementation of a wide array of applications, spanning such diverse areas as Navigation Systems, Geographic Information Systems and Facilities Management applications. He is currently the Senior Architect for Oracle Infrastructure at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory where he is responsible for planning and implementation of a broad array of Oracle technologies to service the needs of the lab. Ray has been a very active member of the Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG) where he currently serves on the Board of Directors as vice president for transition and global outreach. Ray has traveled around the world speaking at various events regarding usage of Oracle Technologies, and has most recently been presenting a series on Enterprise Manager and Grid Control and implementing Oracle RAC. The Oracle ACE Program recognizes and rewards members of the Oracle Technology and Applications communities for their technical proficiency and willingness to share their knowledge and experiences.
